Ford Paired with Coolhaus to Create a Mustang-Inspired, Limited-Edition Ice Cream Sandwich

Recently, Ford celebrated National Ice Cream Day by offering a limited edition "Orange Fury" ice cream sandwich that was created in collaboration with Coolhaus Premium Ice Cream and inspired by a new exterior color for the 2018 Mustang.

The limited edition indulgence was created by sandwiching two orange icing-covered Vanilla Whoopie cookies around a scoop of Orange Fury ice cream, and then enveloped the whole thing in a Mustang-printed edible wrapper made of potato wafer paper and edible ink. The tasty creations were available for a limited time both in New York City and at the Coolhaus shop in Los Angeles.

Barb Whalen, Ford Color and Materials Design Manager, collaborated with product developers from Coolhaus to create a tasty treat that captures the essence of both the iconic vehicle and this bright new color.

Whalen stated in a press release, “I typically focus on things like color research, leather seats and hand stitching, so this was definitely a bit different for me. It was fun applying some of those same design philosophies into helping Coolhaus create an ice cream flavor that really embodies the new Orange Fury color.”

Our dealership at 1264 Dewar Drive in Rock Springs proudly serves Ford drivers from the Lander, Rawlins, Kemmerer and Lyman areas.
